Hey there! I'm Deepika Parthasarathy. I was born and raised amidst the vibrant culture of Chennai, India, I got my bachelors degree in Commerce from MOP vaishnav college. I further pursued and qualified as a Company Secretary. But life had more adventures in store for me, leading me across the globe to the beautiful city of Seattle, USA.

Working remotely, I found solace and joy in the world of theatre and filmmaking. From writing scripts to directing stage plays, from acting to lending my voice in musical performances, my passion for storytelling then led me to explore filmmaking. I wrote scripts for short films, directed a few, and even worked as a first assistant director and singer in a Tamil feature film made in Seattle (my IMDB). Beyond filmmaking, photography holds a special place in my heart.

As time went on, I felt a pull towards a different kind of creative challenge – the world of design. That's when I decided to return to school at Bellevue College to study UX design. After successfully finishing my course and still working remotely as a Company Secretary, I have dedicated all the time I could get to design, delving into various passion projects and a few freelance projects to continuously refine my skills and deepen my understanding of user experience.

Now, back in India, the R2I dream I fervently held has finally materialized and I am ready to turn my passion into a career as a full-time product designer.

I'm a curious soul fascinated by how things (and people) work and why they work that way and that curiosity is my north star throughout the design process, guiding me to find the right solutions for the right people. My lived experiences and personal values bring an innate appreciation for human differences, inquisitive open-mind when faced with new information and innovative perspectives to the table.
